Samaritans Association works for the successful integration of deprived children, youngsters, elderly and families into the community on the territory of Stara Zagora region.
The Association has developed social services in the following areas:
- For parents: family consulting and support, family planning, pre-natal and post-natal care.
- For children at risk: prevention of violence and deviant behavior, telephone hotline, consulting of children with deviant behavior, training in skills for independent living, social integration and educational support.
- For single mothers of children aged 0-3, psychological and social support, training in parental skills and baby care,; social and legal services

- Gavrosh Association, Varna
Gavrosh Association was established in 1994 in Varna to provide care and various services for children and teenagers at risk in Varna and the region.
The Association’s activities include:
- Gavrosh day and night center for homeless children aged 5-16. The Center works for meeting children’s immediate needs.
- Educational program and professional training for homeless children
- Work for lasting accommodation of the children – program for work with the parents aiming returning the children within their families
- Program for socializing children, living on the street.
- Preventive work with children at risk
- Work with children who have been sexually abused
- Work with homeless children sniffing glue or using other narcotics
- Social work in the Roma communities
- Cooperation with other NGOs, central and local governments, doctors, teachers, legal exerts and journalists.
- Development of the Gavrosh Association as a Resource Center
- Successful development of Gavrosh Social Enterprise

Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration, Botevgrad, Vassil Levski Elementary School
The Center serves children 0 to 14 years old suffering mental disorders and malfunctions of the motor system as well as their parents. The Center for Social Integration supports children integration in regular schools through providing psychosocial consultations, diagnostics, compensation and rehabilitation of communicational malfunctions; multi sensor stimulation.
