Making an effective donation and monitoring the results is more difficult for individual donors due to the time needed for research. We suggest that you donate to an already existing project or to an organization working in your preferred area. Thus you will be able to check what happens with your money or in-kind support and receive regular updates, and have the chance to influence future developments. Donating directly to a residential institution for children can only be useful if made on the basis of information about the status and needs of the home as well as provided previous support.
